Just because!!

Only one card tonight, I was getting ready to relax and an idea
came to me/

So this is it. Daisy/Gerber  stamped onto water colour paper, watercoloured
with Peerless watercolours then fussy cut.

Love them, they have such a depth to them. As you know I unpack all my
stamps and tend to keep in like so I haven't kept the name of them but I'm
pretty sure they are Stamplorations (please correct me if I'm wrong)

I put the card through the die cut machine with one of the
3D folders that gives a wonderful crushed material look.
Once I stuck the flowers down I realised they really needed
some wink of Stella- carefully so it didnt move the
paint too much.

Finished off with this die cut 'Just because' I picked up
from a craft sale and a few enamel dots.

Challenges:

I was inspired by the colours, hot pink, bright orange
and white and by the material on the duna cover and
the crisp whiteness.

Couldn't resist entering one more time.

without the option.

thank you so much for coming to look and I hope you come again soon.

Hello, Just a note to let you know you're awesome!!!

This is a photo heavy post. Inspiration and only one migraine in
the last 17 days due to new medication means being able to craft my
little heart out, I have four cards today.  I have Copic-ed, I have
painted with my zigs, I have blended with Distress Inks and I have coloured
with my Inktense Pencils. (Nah I did the Inktense and Zigs on another day
just decided to use the images today).
I just got this stamp 'Botanical Hello' from Mama Elephant in the mail on Friday.
Stamped in black for watercolour, black for Copic andDistress Ink was meant to be
no line colouring but I wanted to keep my colours really light so you can see
the stamping. I still need to do white, gold and silver embossing - no wonder I never
get around to using all my stamps.
Used only three copics for the whole card. Did a base coat then came in
again for shadow and depth. Then of course some Wink of Stella on
the flowers.

Finished off my die cutting with my wonky rectangle die and thought I was going to
break by machine, as it cracked and groaned at the beginning and end. Doubt know
why this particular die struggled but I really thought I would find a broken plate
coming through but it managed.
Finished the card off with the sentiment that comes with the stamp (there are two sentiments)
and some pale sequins.

This card was an idea I had after seeing the Fusion Challenge
which is Green and Yellow for Australia Day Celebrations
and I think I have also done the layout pretty closely.

Got this stamp and die from Papertrey Inks, fell in love
with it when it came out and ended up getting it from someone de-stashing.
Total bargain  and then of course its sat there waiting for me to use it.
I stamped and white embossed on multimedia paper as I wasn't sure
what I would do.

Blended distress Inks and was happy with my results but still needed to
add some Wink of Stella, looks very glittery IRL. Needed a sentiment that
worked with the feathers. Looked all through and decided this one worked
perfectly with the feathers.

This little cutie is a Lily of the Valley stamp, had it for many
years and love using it. I think they look so cute and perfect
for Valentines Day.

Coloured with Inktense pencils. Die cut with Postage Stamp die.
Then I used the same die but next size up and cut the pattern paper.

Attached the coloured picture with some fun foam behind it to give a wee
bit of height. Finished it off with a glitter red XOXO.

My final card I was inspired by Muse Challenge
This wonderful card is done by Jenni Murray.

And this is what I have been inspired to make. The beige paper has glossy
white inset polka dots. I die cut an oval out then die cut another oval in white.
There are stitches on the oval.
The flower is from Altenew, stamped and white embossed on watercolour
paper then die cut. The coloured with Zigs and water. Added Glossy accent to the
flower. Doesn't the pink and orange look fantastic together.
I wanted to add leaves but didnt want them to be heavy. Used a leaf die I have a cut
the leaves a few times out of pale green velum (the last of it sobbb).
Finished off with the Taylor Expressions 'best wishes' diet in white.

Hows that for a bunch of cards.

Thank you so much for coming to visit and I hope you come again soon.

Love you, With Love and Happy Bird-day

Today I have three cards for you. I did lots of Copic colouring.

This card was made using a digi image I downloaded from PowerPoppy.
Its called Magnolia Sunshine and is included in their Winter sets. I wanted
to enter their January Challenge and it needed to be one of their winter stamps
or digitals. Love colouring these, with the lines and shadows it makes it an
easy to colour image.

I used pinks yellows and greens for this set. I was going to leave it one layer but had
just taken delivery of the oval die seen here which comes in two sizes plus a smaller
circle with petals in it. I didnt press out the die cut half circles, I wanted to leave them in
so the image off cuts didnt show through.

I fussy cut the bottom half of the image asI wanted it to look like the flowers
are flowing over the frame. I used a piece of pattern paper where its white with
glossy white indented circles. It doesn't show very well here but looks so elegant
and perfect with the flowers and gold die cut. Finished off with my favourite 'love you'
sentiment from Technique Tuesday.

This is another new to me image drawn by Mo. I love her images
and find it very difficult to stop myself purchasing but as she has been
doing for a while when she first releases a new image it is 50% off for 24 hours.
So at $2 US thats a real bargain and one I cant ignore. If you are new
to digital images go check it out Mo's digital Pencil and please don't blame
me if you end up addicted to her images like I am. By the way if you aren't keen
on using digital a lot of her images are available as stamps through Penny Black
(not all but a lot of them), of course more expensive but for stamps a very good price.
Back to my card, I decided I didnt want my bride in white so I used my
Copic Pearl White E41 for her dress and felt this worked perfectly with
her vintage look. I did a very light coat for her veil and a few layers for the dress.

I used dusky pink colours for the flowers and trim on her dress. A dull yellow
for the stone seat she sits on.
Lots of Wink of stella in the veil and flowers but
not very visible in the close up so you will just have to trust me on that.

I bought some cheap (yes I am still buying some washi tapes) at Kmart but at 4 rolls
for $4AUS it was a bargain.  They were all tapes with foil gold this one being very thin
and gold hearts, perfect for the occasion. I then added the coloured image but with dimensional
foam tape so it sat just slightly higher and finished off  with gold sequins and 'with love' die cut sentiment from Penny black.

My last card is with a stamp from penny Black. Love this cat and he's cheeky face.
First time used thought I have had it in my NBUS pile for a long time.
After colouring with Copics and making him a bit of a ginger and my birds
come from my fantasy garden remember where everything is rainbow coloured.
I had finished colouring and added the sentiment and then went to add to the card front
and realised I needed the tree to go a bit higher, I had finished colouring just above the birds
and it looked silly. I was going to get the Copics out but then thought of the leaves I have used
here. They were already coloured and cut out in my box of pre coloured flowers and were
perfect.

The bird looks like he has flown out of the leaves and just spotted the cat. Rather than
a solid sky and clouds I decided to just do the Copic spot technique around the birds and the
cat and finished off with a few clear sequins.

All finished and for those of you who are perfectionists I don't want you looking at the bottom
right of the card and be thinking, 'mmmm she didn't take the colouring low enough' because
I will fix it.......maybe!!!!
