Love you

Some cards just come together easily and very quickly and this one was like that.
Everything just fell into place. The background is made with the Altenew stencil
and I used Distress Oxides in  Worn Lipstick at the bottom and then Tattered Lace
from the middle up. It actually looks more pink IRL.

After the oxide had dried enough I cut the heart shape (mmm I spent an hour looking on Google for the name of these hearts to share with you and they didnt come up on any of my searches sorry) I'm pretty sure they came as a set, the floral outline one, the silver lines and a pretty little floral die.

So back to this I die cut the floral heart from the front of the card. Then I used the stripped heart to cut the silver heart lines. This one just cuts the lines and leaves the shape intact. I used The Ton Silver Adhesive Paper (I love this stuff, it has the most amazing sparkle and I love the lines through it and its so easy to reposition the pieces to where you want them. Just dread running out so using every little bit, smallest bits for stars and spots!!)

I closed the front of the card to draw with a pencil and mark where the outline of the heart was then knew where to place the silver inside. It worked out perfect, one layer card with this wonderful sparkly silver heart inside and I cut the 'love you' sentiment from the same silver paper. Added a sparkly clear gem at the top.

Challenges:

I took inspiration from Steffi's card with the soft pink colours,
the stripes and the heart. Wonderful card Steffi, love it.

Thanks so much for coming to visit and I hope you come again soon.

I love how you got the stripes and foliage from the inspiration in a completely different way! Thanks so much for joining us at Muse this week, Aileen!

You had me at stripes. Add a heart and it's a done deal! I love this graphic, yet very feminine creation. And I also totally get that searched-forever-for-it-on-the-internet frustration!
