Your coloring with zigs just amazes me, especially since you're using them on VELLUM!
Neenah 80# is my go-to for Copics - a friend has sent me a bit of Xpress it but I didn't see the difference, honestly. I didn't care for the color of it, however. Is that why you appreciate the color of the Neenah?
Your dancers are TUTU fabulous, in every form!! Your granddaughter must love them!
=]I Card Everyonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14200280765111026506noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6386540663798722826.post-39564546716460804512021-02-24T17:28:21.713+11:002021-02-24T17:28:21.713+11:00These are all so wonderful Aileen, my fave is the ...These are all so wonderful Aileen, my fave is the card you made with just the ballerina legs....genius my friend!
As for the cardstock, you can have it all and change it up when you want! I do keep some different types but mostly stay with the Neenah purely because it's what most crafters can get and it has the 80 and 110lb versions. With the whole matchy matchy white.
I don't usually colour with copics on the 110 as it doesn't blend as easily and uses more ink. It also took me a little while to get used to the 80lb Neenah, the 'reds' really try to misbehave on it! Certainly the smoother cardstocks like Xpress it are better but they are such a brighter white. The other thing I did was create 'false' fronts for my 110lb card bases and I find that works well too. Hope you have fun on your cardstock search, there are some great ones out there.... I think the Gina K is meant to be nice as well (ps let me know if you try it lol)lostinpaperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04307270469969500243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6386540663798722826.post-83873922309042182992021-02-24T01:22:15.999+11:002021-02-24T01:22:15.999+11:00I absolutely love the card you made with the Color...I absolutely love the card you made with the Colorado rose Aileen! Orange roses are just gorgeous aren't they. You've coloured it beautifully and are really making me want to play with some zigs - I know other crafters are mad about them too. Sigh, another thing for my ever-growing wish list! Also love the pretty dancer cards, especially as a whole set. Thank you for a very inspiring visit!
