Love Gold & Purple


Another quick and easy card. I have gold embossed the stamped image.

I then added purple Zig watercolour. Dark in spots that was then lightened with very pale lilac. This is a wonderful stamp that I bought a couple of years ago and keep forgetting to use, yet it looks s pretty gold and silver embossed and also white embossed with a wash of colour. Here I have kept the watercolour very tidy within the letters.


I added a strip of gold tape along the edge as I felt the card needed something. Then I added
three dark purple gems and its finished ready for a sentiment on the inside.

    This is really stunning Aileen, beautifully clean and simple but full of impact. What a pretty stamp! I can see how it would suit lots of different colours, but I do think this gold and purple looks fabulous! Thanks for playing along again at Less is More :)
