'Chilling' With My Friends

This is a Mo's Digital  Pencil Image and comes with a Christmas greeting but as we celebrate Christmas here in the middle of Summer it just didnt work for me but I love the image. So I just didnt use the image and decided to make it a Winter friends card. Two friends 'Chillin' together.

I coloured with Copics, rather heavy handed as I felt her clothes needed to look
snug and warm. Rather than all grey for seal and water and ice I decided to play
with colour and use a bit of blue, in my ice-land the area is blue - ok!!

I decided to add glitter to the white areas as I don't have anything for fluffy look
and it certainly looks wonderful but must admit it looks a wee bit Christmasy and
also it tended to warp the card stock. When I do more I will have to find a fluffy
type of white and also use a thicker card stock which I am not sure is available
in Copic friendly???

Anyway to keep it nice and CAS I didn't add any embellishments as there
was enough glitter on her clothing and just added the sentiment 'Chillin'
which I made out of silver glitter peel offs. I also had no cool, cold, chill
etc words in all the million and one sentiments and single words I have.

Your comment about the sentiment made me laugh...isn't it the truth, we never have the one word we need when we have so many other sentiments! Your "chillin" is perfect!
