The Flower Challenge #75 Christmas

This month the challenge is all about Christmas so a card with florals for Christmas.

Please note that the challenge will only go till the 15th this month
as we realise everyone is getting very busy organising for Christmas/Holiday period.

We will not be having a challenge next month as its Summer over this side of the
world and that means school holidays, hot days and lots of down time so we decided
everyone could have January off.

Now to my card

I love how this card turned out and it has already been given for Christmas and the recipient
loves it as well.

This is a new background stamp from Hero Arts and I heat embossed in gold onto vellum.
I then watercoloured with my zigs.

As you know when I use my Zigs on vellum as they are vibrant colours in a pen I am able to
use without water using the palest colour to blend out the bright colours. Also Zig Watercolour
brushes now come with a blending brush with clear solution which is great for removing
excess colour or colour that goes outside the image.
I also did a very very light pink wash over the blank areas.
I attached to the cardstock by using glue in areas behind flowers where the colour was darkest.
Hot foil sentiment was all that was needed to add sparkle to the card. This is a 5.5" x 5.5" card.

Now its time to go over to The Flower Challenge Blog to see what the Design Team has been up to
and to gets lots of amazing inspiration. Also we have the wonderful Darnell who has joined us
after winning a challenge earlier this year.

If you have never been to Darnells blog you need to go check it out, she makes the most amazing
cards and always, always has a brilliant tail to tell. Darnell has a massive following on her blog
because she just knows how to share a good story and get us smiling. Darnell was actually the
person who convinced me to start a blog and helped me through all the steps.

Well its time to go visit the others.
Thank you so much for coming to look at my cards

Crafty hugs
