You are Incredible.

I was sorting out percolated and cut butterflies and flowers into a semblance of order and saw this flower which I had stamped and white embossed on very pale orange vellum. It is three separate sizes and I think its a Hero Art flower. I joined each layer with a little glue and added an orange gem.

Its all spotty dotty so perfect for the Less is More Challenge which I think I still have time to join. I had finished the card and was going to photograph and found my camera had a flat battery so had to wait till it charged enough.

Laid the flower originally on a white card base but felt it looked a bit wishy washy so added a layer of bright orange vellum (love this coloured vellum...will have to find more as it is disappearing fast).
Okay so cut the vellum very slightly longer than the card front, put a fold in at the top and attached over the back with a strip of double sided tape.

Being over the back there is no tape visible. Glued the flower on then stamped with Stazon ink 'you are' so it wouldn't smear and then added a new to me die cut 'incredible'. Finished off with the small orange gems.

Ready for someone incredible.

Okay thank you so much for coming to have a look and I hope you come again soon.

Just decided to do a quick EDIT here as Darnell is having a challenge called

and I couldn't resist entering with this card

I was so proud of this card and didnt notice anything was wrong till I was actually adding it to my blog. My husband and kids did their usual 'wow' 'wonderful' etc and no one noticed.
Then I put the two cards together:

I love watercolouring and am rather fussy as I go. Not a relaxed and let it splot here or there, more section by section. Anyway when the two were together suddenly I could see my purple butterfly at the top had one big joined wing, no gap and then further down third butterfly I had done exactly the same thing. Of course it still looks okay and I will use it but it was just one of those moments where you look and think 'whats wrong here??' and it finally dawns. So nothing better for this challenge I reckon.

So here we go

Now its only open for 24 hrs so if you want to join in you need to pull your finger out and do it. If you don't want to join in then just Hop on over and check out the other cards.

Again thanks for visiting.

Wow, the orange really makes it pop! I love the dotty flower, and that sentiment is beautiful.

Nearly forgot - I love the butterflies cards too! I don't think anyone would notice the joined wings. I had to really look to see what you meant. It's exactly the kind of thing I would do too so I did smile about it! :)

Well Aileen, I think that this must be an April Fool, even though you have told us where to look, I still . . . couldn't see the boo boo until I got hubby to look for me? It still looks stunning to me and I certainly don't think a non card-maker would notice! TFS. Happy April Fool's Day! Hazel xx

Oh, these are both wonderful! I love the white on orange on the first one -- it's very eye-catching! And the watercolored butterflies are gorgeous!

I was so busy admiring the beautiful colors of the butterflies, that I didn't even notice the boo boo until you drew my eyes to it...*grin*

Your dotted flowers are gorgeous, and look wonderful on the orange vellum. As to your butterfly cards, I think they are both stunning, and cannot see the flaws, even though I looked pretty hard.

Well, I had to double check for the "boo boo". I guess that is where you add a ribbon. LOL

The vibrant orange vellum looks terrific and adds another layer of interest and texture and along with the white flower is so striking. All I can say about you boo boo is I have made much bigger ones than that and ones much more noticeable. I just love the butterfly cards ...both of them! x

Such a vibrant card, love the layering up of the flowers. Your mistake is a very subtle one, even though I remembered squinting at it last time, I had to squint again to see it! Cara x

The sentiment on your first card says it all: incredible! Such a gorgeous background for your pretty flower! As for your butterfly oopsie...I was so enraptured with your amazing water-colouring that I detected only a beautiful kaleidoscope of swoon-inducing creations! I'm glad you're saving this...it really is wonderfully pretty!

First of all, your bright orange "incredible" card is just that, Aileen ~ incredible!!

As for your Big Fat Card Boo Boo, it's a good one!! I don't think I would have noticed that third butterfly unless it was pointed out, but I will admit, the top one is a head-cocker! I can say that because I've done that myself when trying to watercolor flowers and leaves and the next thing I know, oops, that's a leaf and not part of the flower and I'm almost done and I just want to weep! (This is a rather cathartic hop, huh? We can all let go of all our sour memories of Cards Gone Bad!!) Happy April Fool's Day and thank you for playing in my BFCBB Hop!! Hugs, Darnell

Love the happy orange and white embossing. It truly does look incredible. I wouldn't have noticed anything on the pretty butterfly cards...I had to go look very closely even after you pointed out the Boo-Boo. Happy A/F Day, and TFS

I am glad you finally revealed what's wrong with that first card, because for the life of it - I did NOT see it the first time you posted it - still amazing card! Like your first one, too!

Hate it when that happens!!!! Arrrgh. I didn't even notice the joined wings until you mentioned it, because I was so bedazzled by the lovely butterflies and pretty colors!! Beautiful work, even with the extra wing parts!

Wow, what a beautiful orange card! I would have never thought that was orange vellum. Your beautiful flowers looks amazing on it. Love this card. Now for your butterflies. I looked, and I looked, and I looked not seeing a darn thing wrong with either card. It wasn't until I kept reading and found out what the boo boo was. lol Honestly if you hadn't said, I would have never noticed it. Both cards are equally beautiful. But I do know that once you see the boo boo, your own eyes are drawn to it automatically from then on. lol Hugs, Brenda

I like your LIM card. It is fabulous. You have used my favourite colour. :-)
Your butterfly card is one of those, where only someone who created it can find a mistake. :-) For me it is amazing. :-)
