Another couple of cards for you to look at. Both of these were easy as cards to make. The longest part of my card making process ends up being the sentiments, Stamp it or Die cut it; which one: birthday, hello, thanks, punny etc; size and placement. Sometimes I end up going through so many folders looking for just what I want and its driving me nuts. Does anyone have an easy answer to this? Thin them out so theres less to pick from? Add the sentiment first and build the card around it?
Anyway this is my first ohh so simple card. The rose panel is an IO background stamp stamped and white embossed on vellum (yes my favourite as you would know if you follow me). I have coloured half the panel in blues and the other half in pinks. The pinks are for a different card.
I coloured with Zigs using one colour for each flower and using my Wink of Stella to thin and move the colour around and add lots of sparkle.
Check it out!!!
I then taped down the rose vellum panel onto the card base and cut a piece of scrap
card stock with the curved scalloped border die. Attached to the card front and finished off with some blue sequins and the Best Wishes sentiment that I curved to follow the line of the die cut and used my Misti to hold it in place. I truly love this card and how it turned out.
Now this card was made using a piece of Yupo coloured with greens and yellow alcohol ink. I made this piece ages ago and thought it would be perfect for this die cut floral frame. The floral frame is one of five in the set so I have more to share later.
Of course now I have the piece that was cut in the Alcohol ink for another time but this time I cut in white as well.
I have cut a piece of adhesive fun foam to the same size as the floral diecut frame.Attached to the cardbase that is narrower than my usual cards to suit the diecut panel. After adding the while layer I then added the negative pieces in alcohol ink. I couldnt for the life of me find the alcohol ink centre for the flower but luckily I had decided to use bright green funfoam and it works perfectly there.
Here you can see the funfoam behind the die cut. Brilliant bright colour, yes !!
This time I finished off with a sentiment "just a note" as it is a thinner card. Great font isn't it, one I have had for ever so long and just perfect. A few enamel dots in greens and Im happy.
Had to share a photo of this brilliant find in Spotlight, I think it may have been a one off stock but keep your eyes open girls. Was not expensive, A5 size 5 of each colour, lovely and bright colours and even a soft grey at the bottom and the funfoam has adhesive tape on the bottom. Perfect for those layers on your cards.

I love all the color and sparkle in these cards. Nice flowers! So glad you linked up with Try It On Tuesday. Hugs-Erika
Two beautiful cards, though I really like the first one if I'm honest... maybe it's the blue, my favourite colour? I just love the contrast the way the die cut works with the flowers. Gorgeous.
So pleased you joined us at Try it on Tuesday.

And it's not just the sentiments... it's the embellishments, they can literally take me hours... sometimes days lol. Love your beautiful designs as always my friend.
Another two beautiful cards, Aileen! I have no advice for you on your sentiment issue as the same happens to me. I usually know what I want the card to be, but to then find the stamp that puts it in the allotted space...
Hugs Monica
I saw this card over at CAS Watercolour and had to come get a better look! Love your work on both cards!!
These are so pretty! Love the blooms stamped on vellum!
Your floral card is so pretty, Aileen! Can't wait to see the pink! I too seem to take longer to choose a sentiment than anything else! Love the bright, beautiful colors of your "stained glass" card! So pretty with the die cut and the green fun foam! Thanks for sharing this with us at CAS Mix Up!
Two simply beautiful creations!! Love your gorgeous flowers!
I love your first roses in blue design, too, Aileen, and can't wait to see what you do with the pink! I'm putting that one in my To CASE folder! And your sweet Brusho note card is so colorful and gorgeous! I used that same little flower (great die set!) on my post-before-last over a Brusho background. I inset mine, but I'm loving the way you popped yours up more!! Hugs, Darnell
Great designs, the die cuts look lovely. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cards with us at Try it on Tuesdays.

What a bright and merry floral frame card, perfect for the faux stain glass challenge. You're first card is also a beauty in the shades of blue.
Thanks for joining us at CAS Mix Up! xx
So beautiful! Both cards are so specially and brilliant! THANK YOU VERY MUCH for joining us at Try It On Tuesday!

The vellum roses are gorgeous, Aileen. Yes, picking sentiments is also my bugaboo. I love the alcohol ink background. I need to play around with mine again soon.
Your blue vellum rose panel is gorgeous Aileen!! Love it with the curved, scalloped edging. So very pretty!! And the bright colours of your yellows and greens of alcohol ink with the white floral die-cut are so pretty. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up and CAS Watercolour! xx
Both are just BEAUTIFUL!!! Thanks so much for playing in our challenge at Addicted to Stamps!

Both of them are so beautiful! I really love your blue zigs at the top. AS for the sentiment issue, it's why I often don't add a sentiment at all, and either send the card without it, or leave it until I decide I need one on it to send and it can be birthday, just a note etc. Great find on the foam! I have loads of it still! xx
This card stops the heart, Aileen. I love how you colored all these roses. It looks really stunning. The second card is just as amazing. I love AI background and it's how you cut out a flower in it. A great design
Thank you for sharing your beautiful card in our HLS CAS gallery.

Gorgeous card Aileen, love your watercolor rose background and the added sparkle...The shimmer looks amazing.... I also love the 2 for one on the CAS cards... I have used the colored fun foam a few times and love how it all blends in. Nicely done
So enjoyed reading your post....Learnt lots, thank you x
What a beautiful and striking first card, love the pretty stamp and your wonderful blue colours and the hint of bling looks so pretty x. No wonder you love it.
The colours of your alcohol inks on your second card are fabulous and love the white die cut against them. How lucky to have the green fun foam in the centre from the layering.....
I cannot tell you how long it takes me to decide on a sentiment too, stamp it, die cut it, layer it, emboss it....it drives me nuts.....x
Hope life is a little more settled for you Aileen and I have been thinking of you and following the blog x Sending hugs x
2 gorgeous cards.
Love your blue colouring and sparkle on the first,
and your inky background on the second is just stunning.

Forgot to add that I have the same problem with sentiments.
I can look at them for ages trying to decide.
I stamp them and cut them out and keep them in a container on my desk, to rummage through and see what works best.

Two very nice dreamcards. I love them both. The rose motif looks amazing. Great design!

Ooh Aileen, your blue floral card is so pretty, what a gorgeous stamp and I'm loving shimmer, its delicious! And the yellows and greens are so vivid, what a beauty! Yes, I'm exactly the same with sentiments, if I find one that's the perfect fit it says the wrong thing and vice versa!
Thanks so much for playing along at Happy Little Stampers CAS Challenge, Anita x
