Sending Happy Fairy Wishes your way

There was a crooked man, and he walked a crooked mile,
He found a crooked sixpence against a crooked stile;
He bought a crooked cat which caught a crooked mouse,
And they all lived together in a little crooked house.

This poem just  jumped into my head as I looked at my crooked photography, why ohh why when I take the photo does it look straight then its time to edit and there it is.

Lucky the card is straight IRL and looks so cute. Again I have used the Hero Art December kit (sorry it did sell out nearly straight away). This time I have used my cute mouse who I stamped, masked then added the mushroom. Masked the mushroom and added the lady-beetle.  The sentiment then the wee little fairy in the corner.

All coloured with Copics being very careful with the red so it doesn' t bleed out.

I added glitter gel pen to the fairy wings, dress and coming off the fairy as though she is spreading fairy dust. Very soft Copic colours here all 000 range.

Coloured the mushroom and added Glossy Accents to build up dimension to the mushroom and the lady-beetle. A little bit of glitter gel pen to the flower and all done. One layer and all done and dusted.

Now to find that crooked man........

Challenges:

Thanks so much for coming to visit and I hope you come again soon

xx Aileen

Your colouring is brilliant Aileen, what a sweet little scene (crooked or not lol). Here's what I have found when I take a photograph I have 'straighter' results when I have the top of the card (when it's topfold) lined up with the top of the view finder... does that make sense?

You've created a cute scene and your coloring is so gorgeous with the glittery touch, Aileen!
I know how annoying it is when the picture comes out crooked. But if the card is fabulous like yours, it doesn't matter :)!

I'm always in love with your little fairies, Aileen... you do have quite the collection! She's worked her magic on Mr. Mouse - I like him, too!

I have the same problem with crooked photos, Aileen. Sometimes I think it's the cabinet I stand them on. I've been using my iPhone lately for pictures so I can't even use Therese's tip. But crooked or not that little mouse teasing the fairy with dandelion seeds us just the cutest.
