The Flower Challenge #59 Use a Die (Option of Slimline card)

This month the Challenge is to use diecuts with the Option of Slimline.
I went both Die cutting the coloured image, then the frame then the Happy Birthday
sentiment.

This beautiful image I have coloured before. A magical magnolia from
Rachel Vass who is sponsoring us and has provided those of us who wanted
to use one of her digital images.

After colouring with Copics I die cut with a slimline die both the image and another
layer with pale green cardstock. Added these to a Slimline cardbase.
A 'Happy Birthday" diecut and a few yellow enamel dots.

Okay its time to go check out the wonderful cards from the Design Team from The Flower Challenge
and also from another wonderful friend of mine Therese from Lost in Pape
who has made the most amazing card that I so have to try doing cause it is just stunning.
Now when you go check out Therese's card don't get lost looking at all her amazing creations just remember to bookmark to check out later or follow even. I met Therese in blogland right at the beginning of my cardmaking journey and loved her style and her cool videos.
I got to meet Therese a couple of years ago and she is just amazing,
what a wonderful person, bright, bubbly and tall like me (Yay)
and all the things you would want in a friend.

Thanks for dropping in and hopefully see you  again soon.

Crafty Hugs

Aileen, you are a very lucky duck to meet Therese IRL! It would be a wish come true for me... a cherry on top would be meeting you both at the same time! [think anyone would complete a sentence? lol]
Your card is gorgeous - Mother Nature should take a cue and allow yellow magnolias! Hey, maybe she does? Rachel's magnolias are so beautiful! xx

Your magnolias are lovely, Aileen, and those lacy border dies are a great way to frame them. Lucky you to have met Therese in person. She is an inspiration for sure.

The blending in your Copic coloring is always so smooth and perfect, Aileen! The yellow magnolias are gorgeous! I didn't know that there are yellow magnolias (I searched and there are yellow ones :) ! The delicate slimline border gives the card a feminine look! Beautiful!
