Lots of ideas with this one but on limited time as I have gone away and needed to make these before I did. So my card for today.
Ok, I have played this one pretty safe, just used some scraps of alcohol ink pattern paper that I had. Long thin strip that I then cut a half inch strip off to make the effect of a wider strip.
Was really lucky as I had coloured my flowers first and this background strip works very well with the floral colours.
This beautiful bouquet is from Waffle Flower Crafts and this is one of the times I bought the die with the flower stamp as they tend to keep their dies at a more reasonable price. That I like, especially as now companies are going stamp, die, stencil and hot foil. I do try to avoid dies if I think I can do on the Scan n Cut but since that too can become time consuming especially when stamping very intricate or light stamping for no line look. But if I see the die on special or it is a decent price I grab it.
Birthday die is Stamplorations and 'wishes' mmmm not sure but thought they worked together for that overlap sentiments look.
Anyway its time to go check out the beautiful cards on The Flower Challenge that the Design Team have made to inspire you.

WOW! I love your floral bouquet, it is stunningly colored. You really mastered your coloring technique, Aileen. I also love the background for the bouquet. A wonderful alcohol background and you divided this colorful panel so beautifully to draw our attention even more to this beautiful card.

Beautiful card Aileen and I love your background with the alcohol ink scraps. So pretty and perfect for a birthday!
Alcohol ink backgrounds are always beautiful, Aileen, whether a full panel or strips of scraps. How great that the already colored flowers were a perfect match.
so pretty, that was a great idea to cut your scraps up like that, lovely flowers!
The alcohol ink pattern paper works really great with your flowers, Aileen! Beautifully colored as always!
