Happy Birthday to you

I needed a quick little card for someones birthday so delved into my pile of coloured images. I have coloured in so many images that I reckon I could make cards fora year without putting a dent in them.
There is nothing so relaxing and portable as stamped and printed up images and Copics and pencils.

This is a beautiful little stamp I have had for many years. She is from my LOTV collection and was amongst the first little girl stamps I had ever seen. So cute, must use them more.
Here she is very basically coloured with copics, very little in blending but enough for bit of shadow. A little bit of Wink of Stella added to flowers, and socks and ribbons and paper dots, alright lots of Wink of Stella added.

I made the card base by adding some pattern paper to the card front then added the coloured image. Stamped the Birthday sentiment (regret adding that gem to the 'i' as it looks wrong now so will go and try to remove carefully later).
A few coloured gems added where needed to cover the dreaded black smudge that jumped onto the card front from nowhere.

Challenges:
Copics is colouring so going with the Topping

I didnt know Birthdays were Holidays but apparently they are
so I am declaring next Tuesday a Holiday.

Thanks so much for coming to visit and I hope you come again soon.

Lovely card, the striped paper works perfectly with your coloured image. We all do thudding a gem thing and then regretting it. Personally I think it looks fine, but I hop it comes off cleanly if you decide to remove it. Cara x
