This next card was my start into next years Christmas cards. I ordered the stamp and it cameo late for this years cards and its so cute I thought I would get started colouring. If you know Stamping Bella you will recognise this as one of hers. The little chickie laying on the ground is a stamp on its own and you can stamp anywhere.
I die cut the tag then stamped and coloured with Copics finishing off
the christmas lights with Wink of Stella.
Love them, so cute and easy to colour.
Trying to decide if I want to add anything else, plenty of time to
decide on that later. Cant believe I have actually started on my next years
cards, but there's a first time for everything.
Next up, I found in my box of pre -cut die cuts a pile of pieces
for
this stunning looking Christmas snowflake/decoration. They are cut from
glitter paper, cardstock and foam.
This photo is a bit blurry, its hard to get the camera to focus with all
the glitter.
But they are extremely pretty and I had a lot of fun putting them
all together.
The die used is from Reverse Confetti
As you can see here they give you ideas on how to
layer the pieces. I ended up cutting lots of pieces and found it
could be rather a pain as the little pieces are what really make
these look good but they are only one offs so thats lots
of times through the machine.
I found it easier to to add sparkle by adding gems. I have made these full size and
added a full size on back. I will add to a card for christmas with removable tape next year
so its a card but also a gift. Three made and hopefully I will get more made as they
would make lovely gifts I think.
Now to end my post a couple of photos of some trees out front that have just seeded, its only for a few days before the berries come in. The wild birds love it and I woke to my son telling me about the noise of hundreds of them raiding the trees. Of course as soon as I went out the door to take a photo they flew off in all directions so I only caught a few cheeky ones
Today there is no white fluff left at all. They will be back as soon as the berries come in and the trees will heave with their colour and noise. Aren't they beautiful.
