This month we are looking for cards for Special Occasions i.e. Birthday, Anniversary, New Baby, An Achievement, With Sympathy. Just remember we do need a sentiment and of course flowers.
We are excited to announce that we have new DT joining us from this month. So delighted to introduce Dhruvika Raj from 'The Cardogram' and also Stef Perry from 'Perry Papercrafts'. Two amazing card makers who I know will make some fabulous cards to inspire you all. Check out their cards below, along with the rest of our fabulous DT too of course.
Our Guest Designer this month is the fabulous Trina P who was also our winner for June. Do check out her blog/Instagram if you have a minute as she makes such fabulous cards.
My card for today
I decided to continue my practice with pencils. I love the result and I am
learning to relax more when holding the pencil. I am also learning that the pencil layers need to be really really light to allow for better blending of the colours.
I love the flower image I used and I stamped in pale bone colour so it nearly looks like no-line. I feel more secure with pencil for this look than I do with Copics, at this stage.
I finished off with some white sequins and this beautiful 'celebrate' die cut as this card is for a friend's birthday.
Thank you for coming to visit and its now time to go to the Flower challenge and check out what the Design Team has been up to and also to see Trina, our Guest Designers card.
