Kay is posting a card for The Flower Challenge #73 Use a Sentiment

A very rare situation but I hav a friend who is new to participating  in card challenges.
She does no have a blog, Instagram, Flickr or any other form of social media. As I had
enjoined her to try participating in  the challenge, she went and made a card then came the linking.

I had assumed  so wrongly that she had some type of social media other than a private facebook
page I decided that I would post her card here for this challenge then if she decides to continue on I will help with setting up somewhere for her to post from.

This is Kay's card and I have her written description

Not a stamp but cut out with adhesive vinyl on my ScanNCut and then adhered to Multi media Paper. Then colored with Kaszazz Alcohol Ink Markers - the only ones I have. Background is an embossing folder. Sentiment is stamped and embossed with embossing powder and then using heat tool. Thanks for entering it in the Flower Challenge.

Thank you

Sentiment is another I have done with the Hot Foil system.Love how it turned out.

CASE me a Christmas card With Michelle Lupton

Today its my turn to join with my friend Michelle Lupton in her CASE me a Christmas Card
series - a Christmas tradition that I look forward to every year.
This has been an ongoing tradition with Michelle and she has the most amazing guests!
Over 40 this year.

The idea is that each of us picks a card from the other's blog to CASE (copy and share
everything) and turn it into a Christmas Card.

For my cards, I chose to use a Big and Bold Stamp from Colorado Stamps.

Here are the things I incorporated from Michelle's card  which you will see here:

White Heat embossed image. Michelle did mandala where I went with the Christmas Bauble
Blended inks - I went with colours in the same range, one in pinks the other in blues
I added shimmer the same as Michelle with flicks from a brush.
I added a few gems like Michelle
I also heat embossed on black but I went with Silver Embossing rather than white.
A Birthday card - now two Christmas cards.

Here is the link to Michelle's beautiful mandala card- shared with permission here. Michelle often does
videos as well as posting to Instagram tablecloth.

Now this is a two way process, so today she picked one of my cards to CASE.

See Michelle's card HERE where she CASEd ME

Thanks so much for visiting.
