Happy Thoughts & Warm Hugs

I nearly forgot to post this card. I made this and send to a friend just to let her know I was thinking of her as she was feeling down. I thought I would add it to Jennifer's 'Sharing Handmade Kindness Challenge'

This was a really easy card to do and I have made ones similar to this before in different colours. Its one of those designs that people really seem to enjoy seeing.

Butterflies are Hero Art coloured with copics, fussy cut and finished off with Wink of Stella. The tag is watercolour paper cut into the shape of a tag. The colours on the tag were achieved using Inktense Pencils very lightly coloured on then brushed over with a wet brush. They blended beautifully.
You can see the glitter on the top butterfly in this photo, trust me they are both smothered in it. Drew the little antenna on the tag.

Finished the card off with three pink pearls and stamped 'Happy Thoughts & Warm Hugs' sentiment. Love that sentiment and it needs lots more use.

Finished and sent on Thursday so hopefully it have arrived before this post is up.

Each week Jennifer is doing a different challenge and this one is due to finish in a couple of hours. If you would like to know more click on the image and check it out. I think its a wonderful idea as we all make so many cards but how many actually get posted. Mine tend to sit in a box then when I think about it I make them into bundles and give them to people as a gift for a birthday, christmas, mothers day or just because.

Okay time to link this card up before the Challenge closes:

Would also like to add to:

Optional Twist RAK

Not sure if this fits the Optional Twist

Butterfly fits the bill here

Thanks so much for coming to have a look and I hope you come again soon.

Such a pretty and thoughtful card! Butterflies are always a calming, happy, carefree creature. I'm sure your card put a big smile on your friend's face and in her heart.

What a lovely RAK (random act of kindness) - I'm sure the person who received this was touched by your thoughtfulness.
Many thanks for sharing your work with me on 'The Monthly Challenge' blog x
