Celebrate 2017 & Happy Birthday

Two cards today, one to celebrate the New Year and one for
a birthday.

Stamped this Stamping Bella image and coloured with copics in purple and yellow. Love this colour combo. Added a bit of Wink of Stella to the glass of bubbly and the bottle but you cant see it here.

One thing with these stamps and that is they are so easy to colour and
always look so elegant, love these girls.

I finished her off with a strip of silver glitter washi on the side and a silver glitter die cut
'celebrate' and sliver glitter peel offs for the '2017'.
Ohh and remembered to add my watermark...... this time

This next card I had actually coloured the panel during Kathy's
30 Day Colour Challenge and then couldn't decide what to do with it.
I have seen a few panels using the same flower from the Altenew set
and didnt want to just copy someone else so it has sat then I saw a challenge
I thought it would be perfect for.

 I have coloured the flowers
with copics and stamped first in pale pink Distress Ink to give
the no line look. Finished the petals off with the white gel pen.

So the areas around the flowers didnt look too empty I added
these beautiful pink gems, that are very small and if you click on the
image and enlarge you will see they are smooth and you
can see the reflections of them on the card. These gems are
from Annabelle's a business here in Australia that is no longer
around and I wish I knew where she sourced these beautiful gems
as they come in the most amazing colours and sizes.

All finished off with a large Paper Smooches diecut. A birthday card
to add to my depleted stores.

Challenges I would like to add these cards to are:

the main change I have made is turning the sketch up the other way so the sentiment
is at the top so hope that is ok. I have not gone with making the flowers lighter
as they dropped but the randomness of the design showing something
falling, in this instance the flowers.

Nothing huge but the Celebration card I have used
Peel Off glitter numbers from a packet I bought ohhhh
maybe a year ago and have never used so fresh start. So trying
to use what is in the room.

Happy Birthday Flower Card

Celebrate 2017 Girl

Celebrate 2017 - silver on card but if not enough please
let me know and I will remove.

Im going with the twist, with the Happy birthday card.
I love colouring with Copics and trying the No line
technique.

Happy Birthday Card with No line colouring

Celebrating 2017 - although this is the first time ever I have made a
New Year card I don't think that counts but the numbers on the card
are my first time using 'glitter peel offs' so hope that counts.

Celebrate 2017 Card

Ok thats it for today. Thank you so much for coming to visit and I hope you come again soon.

Your little celebratory girl is darling and beautifully colored, Aileen, but it was the pink Altenew flowers that caught my attention. I have a similar card (although I used other flowers to fill in) sitting on my desk waiting to post for a challenge coming up next week.

Hello, wonderful Aileen! December seemed to pass in a blink and with it, seemingly no opportunity to leave comments! Apologies galore! Hope the thought bubbles of 'oohs and aahs' reached you! Catching up on your New Year creations...and what a fabulous starting point your classy New Year's gal is! Stunning colouring...oh, how I'd love to fit in that dress and be able to wear those stilettos (I'd tip right over if I tried!). Your cascading flowers are gorgeous; again, your colouring is breath-taking! A duo of delights...
