Congrats Masterpiece

Does that title sound like I have tickets on myself.....hehehe couldn't think of anything catchy and just 'Congrats' didn't do it for me. Ok this card idea came from this challenge -

I loved the colours and played with a couple of ideas flitting around in the old noggin. I have done one with flowers and watercolours but still procrastinating on that one. Saw Lin's card this morning and commented and then thought I had missed the challenge.

Okay lets look at the close up here. I have used the stamp from Winnie and Walter and embossed with gold. I then used the Zig watercolour pens and I went with the four colours you can see in the Challenge photo. The gold trim is the gold chains the bridesmaids are wearing. Each time I just scribbled a wee bit of colour in the corner of three triangles then added water to help spread the colour. I really really like how turned out, the colours are vibrant and just ended up laid out perfectly.

I cut a frame for the rectangle of watercolour but of course it was the wrong size so rather than fiddle around trying to redo and resize I decided to go with the look that the picture/abstract is falling out of the frame.

To me this looks like a framed abstract that has issues. Finished off with a gold die cut 'Congrats'. Made the frame from a stitched rectangle die cut.

I love it and may just enter this the challenge as I am so happy with it.

Can you see it?? My masterpiece!

Anyway time to add to the challenge:

I gold embossed to add texture and I die cut for more texture so I hope that fits the bill for texture.

Since I have used the Winnie and Walter stamp I thought I would add to their Join in on their blog

Thank you very much for coming to have a look and I hope you come again soon.
