Posting two cards today.
This one is done using another wonderful Stamping Bella stamp. Elephants, so easy to colour.
I used grey copics C1, C3 and C5 and a pale skin pink and some of my YG greens for the grass. R17 and 35 and then Glossy Accents for the hears. Lucky for me the 'I love you' sentiment is crooked in design so no matter how I stamp or where it looks perfect.
I Die cut using my NEW Pretty Pink Posh Scallop Die Cuts that I have wanted for ever so I went mad and bought in rectangle and circle and half circle and I love them.
I cut the image out using the die then the plaid patterned paper then placed the image back into the frame. Perfect. Finished off with my red heart gems.
Ideal for saying' I love you' to someone, or a birthday or mothers day - yet to be decided.
Next I finally started colouring in these birds. I LOVE THEM. they are just so
quirky. So many ideas come to my mind and with my wide collection of smarty/cheeky sentiments I feel they will get a good workout.
For todays card I just stamped two up the right way and one upside down. If I had it to do again I would maybe move the bird thats upside down across as thats a deadly place to be considering birds do like to just drop a pooh whenever.
All silliness aside I coloured with copics and my blending went okay. Its funny on the blue/purple bird the line is much more obvious than I realised so I will need to work on that, I do like the soft blend.
This was a really simple card to put together and because of the upside down bird I decided I needed a creative sentiment and after going through nearly all I found I really liked this one 'dare to be creative' and doesn't it link well right down to that little line under the 'tic' part of the word.
Finished the card off with the leaf I borrowed from a Flower stamp set from Happy Little Stampers and a mix of sequins. Notice I am getting a little more adventurous with the sequins and using more often. Having purchased some more and been given some by some wonderful crafting friends from overseas. I do especially love those teeny tiny ones that include stars and other shapes.
