 Big title, four cards so a bit photo heavy in the posts well as the title :)

This first card is using a NBUS dreamweaver die. I was looking for a die that would look good using washi tape on a piece of cardstock and cutting through the cardstock to make this:

Impossible to get a good photo of how fantastic this looks having used the same washi tape as I

used on my Easter card in my last post. I just added the strips so that the colour moved across the piece of card stock so that the colour wasn't in a straight up and down look, rather diagonally. The great thing about washi is that if it doesn't line up properly as long as you are careful you can lift and retry again and again. I wanted the edges as close as possible so that when pressed down hard it looked like one piece.

The lower colours that aren't showing well here are purple, blue through to pink.

Added by just running my tape along the back of the die cut and moved till I was happy. Then added

the sentiment (sorry not sure where its from) 'Believe in your Dreams'.

This card was lots of stamping from a baby set of stamps (I think it is Papertrey) and was one I bought a long time ago. I stamped with Distress ink in pink onto paper I thought looked good for a baby girl, moving the stamp around so I captured the butterflies onto the baby suits. This paper has a little glitter and gloss on it and the other was just a red and white check but looked good.

I don't have a die for this stamp but very easy to fussy cut and of course I did so many I have another 100 (maybe a bit of an exaggeration) little girl suits. Now of course I need to do some in blues and neutrals.... another day. Added the baby suits in a line as though strung on a line.

Finished it off with this cute little 'welcome' die cut  from Paper Smooches in white and brushed with some Spun Sugar Distress ink to give the two colour look. Stamped 'new baby' and its finished.

Next up is this card that was even easier. I used a piece of pattern paper (watercolour look) and die cut the little sentiment 'Welcome to the World Little Angel'. Before adding the sentiment back into the negative from the die cut I added a rectangle of white sparkle paper.

Glued the sentiment back into place and finished it off with the little clear gem teddy bear.

This one was lots of colouring. Fabulous cake stamp and die from Concord 9. Coloured with copics.

This is a chocolate cake with salted caramel cream ok. Used white gel pen to add the centres back into the flowers. I then die cut the coloured image, a layer in foam and a layer in pink vellum.

Added  the image direct to the foam layer but at a slight shift to the right on the vellum so it looks

like shadow.

Cut 'celebrate' out twice, copic coloured the bottom layer too dark thats why I added another layer with very light pink at the bottom but at slight shift so the other is visible. It works for me.

Happy Easter & Magical Mermaid

I finished colouring my mermaid and decided in the end to use for a card. It's a

large card but will make someone happy.

First up we have this cute little rabbit, a new digital from Mo's. As I didnt have much in the way of Easter stamps I couldn't resist as it was half price on release day.

Coloured with copics, very easy and quick. I did two actually but only have one here.

I did this one in C's and the other in 'W' tones. I will put both together next post so you can see the difference in the greys.

To add a bit of kick to the card I have run washi tape down each side. Isn't this one magic.

Rainbow colours in metallic foil, yumm.

I added a layer of yellow fun foam to lift this layer slightly and it looks nice

side on with that line of bright yellow. Sentiment comes with the image.

Here's my mermaid all finished. Boy that was a lot of hair and trying to work out where the shadows were meant to be was a job and a half but I was happy in the end. Decided to do her tail in greens

and tried doing the colourless blender pen dots but they just didnt show up in the patterned scales so ended up adding lots of Wink of Stella for sparkle.

Hard to see the sparkle but it certainly got Elysha's tick of approval ' ohh mum she wunful'

Added her to a pale green/blue cardbase with just a slight trim off at the bottom. Added the 

Magical' sentiment from Stamplorations and then some 'bubbles' white and very pale blue sparkle

enamel dots (more mum, more... yes that perfect).

Another Birthday......Another Gray Hare

 Second post today. I was sitting in my craft room and thinking about the challenges that

are wanting 'green' or 'leaves' and then I remembered this brilliant stamp.

I cant remember where I saw it, but someone had used it and I fell in love, had to have it and of course it was waiting to be used. NBUS Art Gone Wild stamp by Michelle Masters 'Unique Topiary'

Need I say any more!!!!

Coloured with Copics YG01 YG25 & G17 and C1 C3 & C5 for my grey hair (rabbit).

The sentiment is from the Grouchy Grumplings stamp set from Taylored Expressions set of

stamps and sentiments and I just couldn't pass up a good way to use the sentiment.

I only have the pale blue coming from behind my Hare as though he is powering

towards another birthday. It was quick and easy and now I have to try a watercoloured

version.  So cute.

Happy Birthday To You Rainbow

 I am so in need of little one's birthday cards, especially as Sophie says

with Unicorns (also My little Pony & Trolls, but I lack those ones).

Found an easy way to make them, using the stitched die hard circle to cut out the front of the card.

Make a whole lot of rainbows freehand with Distress Inks, just waited for each arc to dry before

doing the next and doing a few at a time saves time later. Then of course I needed to add Wink of Stella.

Sparkle is amazing IRL. Did in some different colour combos for variety.

Coloured the Unicorn and stars from Papersmooches with Copics, a bit of Wink of

Stella on the main and stars but it doesn't show.

Used the Misty (even with the whole card put together first) to stamp the

sentiment a couple of times and its all finished.

Spring is in the Air Doodle Flowers

Quick post last minute card. Love how it turned out and maybe too fiddly for theChallenge I did it for but it just worked for me.

Doddle flowers I was given as digital images many years ago.

These ones all coloured with purples and greens.

Decided to cut off 2 inches of the front of the card and add acetate 

so the flowers could hang over the edge of the white card.

I then decided to blend a soft blue Distress ink getting slightly darker towards

the outside.

Then I added another doddle flower in pinks and blues at the top that you

cant see when the card is shut. Added the 'smile' die cut and sentiment from

the same set - 'sending you a'

Last bit stamped ' Spring is in the Air' from another stamp set/

Hope its not too busy. 

She's not finished yet but I printed up big so I could practice hair colouring.

Blues B18 B24 B32 & B21 as lightest. You can see two different styles here.On the left 

is more blended on the right more defined lines. Cant decide which I like more, So hard

with all these loops trying to decide which has shadows and how much is too much shadow.

Thoughts??? Anyone!!
