A very simple little card today. after white embossing the stamped chevron background on some watercolour paper I added colour by just colouring very lightly each two rows with different colours. I used Inktense pencils then once coloured I added water to smooth out the colouring. Very simple, very easy. Then I die cut the 'Love' die but again I have used the negative from the die cut. Just glued that straight onto a deep crimson piece of card stock.
Added my usual gem which matches the card stock perfectly. Add both photos as one shows the sparkle of the gem better than the other. The sentiment I stamped actually said 'Love, sweet love but I cut off the first love as we already had that. Put back together on backing sheet so can still use as was if I want.
Would make a nice little gift card I think or just a little note to let someone know how loved they are.
