Welcome to the world little angel

With that Papertrey purchase I made this die was one that I had pined over for a long time. I bit the bulletined added it to my list and now of course I am working my way through the pile.

I think its so cutting done this way nothing else is needed.

My first attempt at making a shaker card after my very complex one done previously.
The hardest bit here was cutting cleanly through the pink glitter material which had a more material like backing than paper or cardstock. I had to put through the Cuttlebug a number of times and increase the layers of shims to finally get a clean cut. After that it was super easy to do with just plain card stock thank goodness.

After cutting out the die cut piece I then used a rectangular die to cut out a window in the pink layer. Onto this I attached the layer of acetate then went through the process of making the shaker card. The glitter die cut I glued to a plain layer to reinforce it then glued that to the pink front.

One the white card base where the window was to be I glued quite a few beads and gems and sequins so they would always be there when the card was standing upright.

I won't go into all the details on how to make a shaker card because they are everywhere now and its probably easier if your learning to watch a video than to try and work out what I'm on about in a description.

What an easy eye catching card. Once you work out all the ins and outs its a great way to make a card fun and interactive.

Would like to add this to:

Certainly glitters and sparkles

I'm hoping this is what Virgina is talking about with texture the glitter die cut but if not please remove with my apologies.

Okay its time to go. Thanks for coming to visit and I hope you come again soon.
