Happy Birthday card for the Muse Challenge

Another of those occasions where its two hours to closing so I had best get this card linked up.
I have made this after being inspired by the Muse Challenge

This is the beautiful inspiration card done by Jenni Murray. And the card I have posted was my immediate idea just had to find the time to do the die cutting I wanted to do.

I have used a white cardstock that has a weave to it. I then  decided on my flower die and cut a pile of pink flowers, white flowers and one lot of white shimmer papers. Here is where I changed my mind for this card.
At first I was just going to use the outlines of the flowers layered up loosely but I changed to using the shimmer white outline and replaced the pink petals, I then added more tape t the back of the flower to allow me to add the shimmer petals for in-between each petal.

I added a large clear shimmery gem. Before I added the flower I added embossed lines with my Scorpal three above and three below.

Attached the flower and then used the Misti so I could stamp the 'Happy Birthday' which had to be done 4 times before it was well covered.

As I went to take photos I found the........dreaded black fingerprint up in the top left of the card, back to the craft room to trim off a bit more card. Luckily it still looks balanced and fingerprint free.

Ready to link it up, Thanks Jenni fir the great inspiration.

Would also like to link to Seize the Birthday as its an Anything Goes week and a Birthday card

Thank you so much for coming to visit and I hope you come again soon

Beautiful die cut flower. The sparkly layer works fabulously along with the colour of the flower and texture of the card.

Beautiful card. Where do these black bits come from, I swear there must be an inky fingered ghost running around and sprinkling black smuts behind him! Cara x
