Its time for a new challenge over at The Flower Challenge but before you go
check out my card.
I watched a video by Sandy Allnock - on using E tones to colour an image and get a sepia look. I even used the same stamp that Sandy used as I had it and had not coloured till now. I don't have Sandy's same colouring skill but I was very happy with the end result.
Instead of leaving as a one layer card I used the Honey Bee frame dies that give this
wonderful effect on the edge of the card.
I also added a layer of dark brown funfoam behind to lift the white layer.
And attached to a brown card base. I love how it turned out and left without a sentiment
as I felt it could suit many different occassions.
I was so happy with this colouring that I then went and coloured an
image of three little flowergirls
a digital image from LOTV stamps. Not a great photo but just thought you
might enjoy seeing it now.
Anyway back on track now as you can see its all about Monochrome which many interpret as black and white only but we found last time a lot of people went with using one colour group so we are relaxed with that, either will work. Its fun to work within one colour group and is a great way for you to learn the different shades within a colour.
So its time to go check out what the rest of the Design Team have done and check out the beautiful make by Nonnie who is our Guest Designer this month. So much amazing beauty.

Never been able to do this sort of colouring! You've done an amazing job, Jo x
Stunning card Aileen - and the 3 flower girls are soooo beautiful! x
Sepia has always been a favorite of mine - it's those neutrals, right? This first card is as exquisite as the second is adorable! Beautifully colored, Aileen!

I loved the coloring on those little girls as I saw it on Instagram but now I love the florals in sepia even more! It's so gorgeous!
I've only ever coloured sepia once from memory and love how it turned out, but yours is outta this world Aileen, espcially love the snippet of those sweet girls!
Two stunning cards! I've seen Sandy's video and I tried it with blues, but seeing your card has inspired me to try sepia!
I think you certainly nailed the sepia look Aileen. Great monochrome card and love those sweet little girls too ♥ hugs Viv xx
This is just spectacular, Aileen!! I absolutely loved how you've achieved this!! I've seen Sandy's video, and while I agree that she's the expert at doing this, I must say that your attempt is an close achievement!! Especially that central floral - its looking exactly like its sitting on a throne of leaves! Wow!! I'm in awe!!
I just love how this turned out mf...gorgeous card, so unique and beautiful.
xx Karen
