Party Time & Sending Sunshine

Darnell sure got me working this time. I have done two kraft cards as I couldn't
decide which way to go, floral or person.

This card I have used this border flower stamp from Honey Bee Stamps. I've used
all the little single flowers before when I did a floral panel. This time I wanted to do the border
but ti it up side down so that the little flowers look like they are falling away from the border.

I white embossed then coloured with my Coloursoft pencils which must have been dropped at some stage as so many of the leads keep breaking. A few of my pencils are only 2 inches long now as
the lead keeps breaking. I have Polychromes on my wish list, maybe for my birthday as they are
very expensive over here, of course I want the 120 colours cause I'm greedy and love all
that colour so I will wait.........

apart from pushing myself to colour on kraft with pencils and using something NBUS
which was the border stamp I also used

now my mind has gone blank. All those little green dots are coloured stuff
in a little bottle, Ranger........ Nah not able to check so will just have to come
back to me later. Added the little green dots here and there, then I added glossy accents
to the falling leaves but you cant see that and finished off with the gold cardstock
'Sending sunshine' die cut as we have so much of it here at the moment I'm happy to share.

This next card, honestly what a bad shot. It looks like I have come out with a new
design but all the photos are the same. You will just have to trust me when I say they are
all straight and don't have a big dip down to the right.

Stamped them coloured with Coloursoft pencils and baby oil.
After I had finished colouring I went over the stamped outline again
with a fine line marker.

A wee bit of highlight around my beautiful lady and a bit of white then shadow
to ground her. Silver pen to show bag strap and lippy tube.

finished off with this magic glitter washi tape - blue glitter, brand new. I love how it
just sticks down but you can lift and reposition if its not straight the first, second, third....
yeah crooked eye. Finished off with a white glitter paper die cut 'party TIME'.

So elegant, like looking at myself when I wander around the house doing the housework and touching up my lippy....

Sending sunshine Card

Die cut - Party Time

Sending Sunshine, I am hoping this is
enough stamping on the card to meet trend.

Party Time Beauty
I think this is my third card for the challenge.

Thank you so much for coming to visit and I hope to see you again soon.

I am loving Darnell's latest NBUS challenge - you never know, you might win those Polychromos! I did some pencil colouring with mine yesterday and I do love them, but boy do I need practice in getting the shading right. Your flower panel is gorgeous and I love the shading on the lady in the blue dress. I'll definitely be trying my hand at this too. Do you have enamel accents or Stickles for the green stuff? Xx

I love both cards Aileen, both are beautifully coloured on kraft. I would love some Polychromos too but can't justify the expense at the moment.

I love that stamp from Honeybee Aileen, but as always, not enough budget for all the stuff I want. I think both of your cards are lovely, I have yet to try to the baby oil technique - I think we have had this conversation on IG. I am torn between liking a perfect blend and also liking seeing pencils strokes.. I am sure there is a place for both. Gorgeous colouring, and isn't it a fun challenge to take part in. Fingers crossed you win the polychromos - I can recommend them!

Sometimes my cards do that dippy thing, too, even though through that little window they look straight! What the what? Gremlins in the works somewhere! In spite of that, it's clear to see that both your cards are really awesome, Aileen! Like all your other coloring abilities, you rock the cp/k technique!! Thank you so much for playing in my NBUS Challenge #8! I'm glad you took part in the optional theme! Hugs, Darnell

Oooh these are fab Aileen, I love how your colour really pops against the craft background. Hope you get your Polychromes, I quite fancy them myself but they are mega-expensive!
PS I love to think of you doing your cleaning in your heels and party dress ;)

Two dazzling delights, Aileen! You've mastered colouring on kraft with the pencils you have on hand; I can just imagine what you'll do when that gift of Polys comes your way! Flowers: breath of spring! Your party gal: WOW! She's definitely a head-turner! How marvelous that she resembles Michele when she's house-cleaning *grin*! Wish that outfit was part of my wardrobe...oh, and I'll take that svelte figure, too! As for your photos...no worries! We look at the images anyway!
