Elegance is an Attitude

I have a number of posts to do, so apologise to my followers who are going to be inundated with some updates but it will be worth it. Have been away taking mum and dad for specialist appointments and it was a rather harrowing week with more bad news than was needed. But life does go on and we are adjusting, it just means more time away than home at this time. So I get plenty of time to colour just not to make the final cards.

These are my catchups. This first is a StampingBella Stamp and I love her elegance. I have the stamp Sentiment 'Elegance is an Attitude' but after I finished making the card there was no room on the outside so its going inside and the card can be a Just Because one.

I copic coloured all except the dress. That I paper pieced and check out the bling, I had the teeny weeny tiniest pink gems you have ever seen (bought to go in a shaker card) and thought they would be perfect so I attached with glue. I used my new stitch rectangle die that adds stitches to both sides. I didn't want to use the one that was long enough as it was too wide so I learnt how to use a small one that was wide enough and left the end sticking out of the cuttlebug plates so it didn't cut all the way through. Then lined up and came from the opposite direction. Did this twice so I could have a frame in pink rather than leaving white.

Added multicoloured twine at the top to cover up the glue that I managed to make a mess with on the fold from sticking down the pink panel. wrapped there times then tied in a bow.
