The Flower Challenge #14 CAS

It's time for a new challenge at The Flower Challenge and as you can see it's CAS. That interprets as Clean And Simple.

I wanted to make a small set of cards to give a friend so I decided to go CAS and made this to give away. Its really hard to see on these but I used a Papertrey Impression Plate (just visible on the card with the yellow flowers) that gives a slight worn look to the front of the card. Love the look and sorry it didnt show up in the photos.

The panel in the whole of the stamp and I cant tell you the name as I pulled the rubber off the wood block and me being me didn't make note, but its one of those timeless stamps that looks just like stamps available now.  Very simple Copic colouring.

Cut a piece of coloured foam to go under each panel to match the main flower, glued it down.

Die cut the white flower and cut it in half, glued the two halves together then
glued against the foam as though under the foam panel.

Finished off with the silver mirror card die cut 'thanks' from
Penny Black. Glued in place.

How simple are these, yet so pretty and eye catching.

Now its your turn to make a CAS card and join us at The Flower Challenge.
Looking for more inspiration? Go to the blog and check out what all the Design Team have been up to, each will have a link from their card to their blog with further information.

Thank you so much for coming to visit and I hope you come again soon.

That is a most beautiful stamp and, you're right, it's completely timeless. I could have sworn it was a new stamp and one I would certainly love to have. I always enjoy seeing older stamps in use. Your colors for each are so pretty and vibrant and your coloring is masterful. I love the CAS look! So crisp against the white. I noticed the texture of the card base right away when I clicked on the first pic. It's so hard to get embossing to show properly in photos. Just had to tell you how fantastic your cards are!
