This is a very short written post as we have no internet at home. There has been some type of outrage and it will not be on again till tomorrow. So I have tethered my computer to my phone which has very limited download time on a different server.
I was inspired by Therese's beautiful card on the Time Out Challenge Blog.
This is Thereses' outstanding card and there is so much about it that I love that I had to have ago.
I was inspired by the flowers cut and layered onto of vellum. The soft pink/salmon colours.
I have used flowers from the same company but instead of stamping the layers in the different coloured inks I wanted to colour mine with copics (my favourite medium).
I coloured with three Copics from the R family R00 R11 and R20, I finished off my highlighting some of the petals with a white gel pen and added a little Wink of Stella to the petals. I coloured the leaves with YG01 G21 and YG17, love this combo. I fussy cut the flowers and leaves as I didnt get the dies. They look fiddly but were actually very easy to cut out.
I added a layer of vellum that has gold strips, its totally stunning vellum. I cut this so it was at an angle much like Therese did. Added my flowers with the top one having some dimensional tape added. then added the leaves and the gold cut sentiment. All this was layered on a pink card base.
Thanks so much for coming to have a look and I hope you come again soon
