Magical Moments

I have fiddled round with this background so much I may still end up pulling this apart.
The background is from Brusho's the blue and purple. I was all set and happy after the initial colouring and added some BoBunny glitter paste through the star stencil. But as she looked up into the sky there was this funny deep coloured circle (where the Colour Burst had not burst and it was
like a pimple on your nose, just kept seeing it sooooooo) Yes I added water then the colour went into the stars as well and got too light so I had to add more blue then it was too blue so I added more purple  blah blah blah.

Of course then I had to remarks and add another layer of stars over the first, yes then I had to add a smear or two cause whats a card without a smear or two. Then I decided to add a few stars from my bling collection and then a few wee little gems. And then I had to say to myself 'STOP IT AILEEN, its fine!!'

Lucky my copic coloured your girl turned out so well. I love her, she's a digital image and I just love the innocent look of her. Added a bit of Wink of Stella to the flowers in her hair.

Rather than place her on the front of the card totally I decided to place her just inside the frame with her hair and flower going off the edge of the card. It worked for me.

Added the gold sentiment 'Magical' on the front and computer generated
'Magical Moments ' on the inside. A gold speckled gem for the dot on the 'i' and its finished.

Don't know I will find any challenges for this card, but it was one of those cards you just want to do.Just might need to do something with that background.......

Boring I know but I've gone Nice this one.

Thanks so much for coming to visit and I hope you come again soon.

One of those cards - but I tell you, it's fine! Your colouring of the girl is perfect. I love her hair. The way you have positioned her is perfect. Xx

Love your card, Aileen and it isn't boring to 'go nice' at all especially when your card is super adorable! Where is the little girl image from??? She's a beauty and I love how you've positioned her to make a sweet little scene. Thanks so much for joining us at Naughty or Nice Challenges, Jo x

Yep can totally sympathize with blog post today. Sometimes no mostly I don't know when to stop...but hey that's the fun in crafting, I guess x Love your colouring on that ever so innocent and cute little girl image. Love the techniques too and I enjoy working with brusho's too but they are so unpredictable and fun x

LOL, sounds like you're as stubborn as me! Sometimes it would be so much easier to start again from scratch, but that would be no fun ;) Anyway, I LOVE how your night sky turned out, that little girl is a cutie too! Oh, and thanks for linking to Naughty or Nice xx

It is funny how sometimes we just aren't satisfied, huh?! Then again, there have been times I was so happy I went ahead & fixed what I didn't like. After all--most important is to please yourself with your work! This is darling--love the girl's placement!

Oh my gosh! Your frustrations with your background has me laughing out loud! Sorry (pimple on your nose: hahahahahah!)! Truly, your perseverance and 'design innovations' paid off, because it really is incredibly pretty night sky for your darling girl to be gazing at! Magical, indeed!

I did enjoy this post...it made me feel I'm not alone with my own craft woes! Except: I really didn't see any 'flaws' in your lovely work. The sky does look magical, and I think only YOU are seeing what you think are boo-boos. The little sweetie is colored to perfection and obviously enjoying the wonderful starry sky. Stand back at a distance, and if you can't see any errors, it's just fine! (that's advice I was given when I was learning to use copics, and it's been one of the best suggestions I've been given. Also look at fresh the next day after you've worked on it!) This is a gorgeous card! TFS & Hugs
