Two cards today, this one is from Elysha's birthday. She loves glitter and fairies and I thought that she would like this little sweetie even though she doesn't have wings. It was fine because it was Cinderella with one of her mice friends Elysha informs me.
Coloured softly with copics it took a bit of juggling to get the oval cut out just where needed with the die I used to cut the wonderful glitter frame, especially as I didn't want to cut her head off or the little mouse and the white piece of cardstock was a scrape.
I love the glitter paper I used (I have mentioned it before) as it has a material like backing on it which means its thicker than general glitter paper and holds it shape really well.
I had added to a bright orange wave texture cardstock and finished off with the 'Happy birthday' die cut.
This next card I stamped the pear tree then coloured with copics. The stamp set is from CAS-ual Friday Stamps and just so easy and pretty to colour.
I kept the colouring nice and simple, going darker on my tree box and bow as I made a mistake first up and had to fix it.
