CASE me a Christmas card With Michelle Lupton

Today its my turn to join with my friend Michelle Lupton in her CASE me a Christmas Card
series - a Christmas tradition that I look forward to every year.
This has been an ongoing tradition with Michelle and she has the most amazing guests!
Over 40 this year.

The idea is that each of us picks a card from the other's blog to CASE (copy and share
everything) and turn it into a Christmas Card.

For my cards, I chose to use a Big and Bold Stamp from Colorado Stamps.

Here are the things I incorporated from Michelle's card  which you will see here:

White Heat embossed image. Michelle did mandala where I went with the Christmas Bauble
Blended inks - I went with colours in the same range, one in pinks the other in blues
I added shimmer the same as Michelle with flicks from a brush.
I added a few gems like Michelle
I also heat embossed on black but I went with Silver Embossing rather than white.
A Birthday card - now two Christmas cards.

Here is the link to Michelle's beautiful mandala card- shared with permission here. Michelle often does
videos as well as posting to Instagram tablecloth.

Now this is a two way process, so today she picked one of my cards to CASE.

See Michelle's card HERE where she CASEd ME

Thanks so much for visiting.

Sophie Made a Card

Today we are quickly going on to add a card that my granddaughter, Sophie made.

She has asked me to enter her card in our latest challenge which is all

about sparkle.

This is Sophie's card, because she used thinner paper the
Nuvo Glimmer pen has added lots of sparkle but also a few
ripples. This will settle down later

This is Sophie's first challenge and I think at nearly 10 years
of age I think she has done well.

No stamps used on this card, all hand drawn.

Thank you for visiting

See you soon

Since we all like sparkle how hard is this challenge going to be.

The first card this month is another of Emily's beautiful flower panels. I have gone with a smoky pink colour in the Copics and the warm greens for the leaves.

The Flower Challenge #71 Circle/Circles

Sorry I'm a bit late posting my card, technology is not my friend at the moment but
we will persist.

So this month is all about circles so I went through my vast array of stamps to see what I could do and this fantastic stamp jumped out at me.

Isn't this the prettiest bouquet. The stamp is from Funky Fossil this company is in the UK and Sarah has the biggest collection of amazing stamps floral, characters, animals and much more and stencils that are unbelievable as well. Check it out.

Back to my card, I have Copic coloured the flowers and you know that card is
straight, its just my photography  thats crooked :)

This stamp is so pretty and doesn't need anything else to show it off so I just finished the card off with a die cut 'Happy Birthday' cut from Silver glitter cardstock.

Now its time to go check out what the rest of the Design Team have been up to at The Flower Challenge.. This month my wonderful friend Therese from 'Lost in Paper' has joined us and as always she has made the most amazing card.

Thank you so much for coming here to check out my card,  and I hope to see you here again soon.

PS
We have a new addition to the family, of the furry kind.
This is Emma who in this shot is 3 1/2 months old. Next
to her is Jake who is 17 years old. Jake is Elysha's
companion dog and as he is slowing down a bit it, was time to
introduce another member to the family. Emma is a
Cavoodle  - mix of Cavalier King Charles and Miniature Poodle.

She is a non stop ball of hair that will push her way into
any situation if it involves a treat or a pat. She has given Jake
a new lease on life and we couldn't be happier.

Lots of training ahead as unlike Jake who came to us through the Guide
Dog Association of NSW fully trained Emma is at the beginning
of life. OOOOOOh my goodness we have never had a puppy
before but we are certainly learning quick, she is training US well.

Thank goodness she is like Jake in that she does not shed so Elysha is
doing well with her. Unlike Jake who always looks so handsome and styled
that hair of Emma's is just a wild uncontrolled mess, brushing her does not
do a thing for her but she does enjoy it. Actually in this photo the hair doesn't
look messy at all but thats probably because the groomer had just visited.

xx

There you go CAS as and simple to do. Come and join us with your own CAS card.

Reminder For The Flower Challenge #69 Yellow and Blue

I think this has been one of my favourite challenges in the last12 months. I so enjoyed coming up with Blue & Yellow cards.

In this instance I have stamped and heat embossed in gold a beautiful rose from The Ton
I have used this stamp a number of times so I cannot say whether it is still in stock, as I was unable to find when I went looking.

I coloured the flower with yellow and blue copics then I fussy cut the image.
I then blended blue  DistressOxide onto some cardstock. When I was finished I flicked water onto the card, let it sit a couple of seconds then blotted dry. I also flicked some gold pain on the base as well.

I finished off by adding the flower with dimensional foam tape to lift it slightly and a die cut 'Happy Birthday' sentiment.

Now its time to go to  The Flower Challenge and see what the rest of the Design Team has been up to.

Thank you so much to those of you who leave such lovely comments here as it gives me hope that people are coming to visit and like what they see.
