Thinking Of You in these hard times.

What do you think of the layout here. A bit different, relaxed, scattered lol. I had been embossing stamps for hours, you know how it goes each stamp stamped in black for copic and watercolour then white embossed, gold embossed, silver embossed, black embossed and of course each is done onto copic friendly cardstock, watercolour cardstock, vellum, and coloured cardstock. We see the beauty of these stamps then see how we can stamp and colour on a number of different mediums, with a number of different mediums then we think of the ones we want to stamp, colour and cut out, ohhh mu goodness its more exhausting than going to work some days. You get the idea, a couple of new background stamps and a couple of stamp sets and your day is filled and you haven't even coloured yet...... well I bought some of the most amazing stamps from The Ton and this was the last set for the day, I was exhausted and I cheated , I left them in place, added ink

and then stamped directly onto multimedia paper then gold embossed and silver embossed, thinking I will colour and cut. BUT I loved how it looked so I left it whole, coloured with Zigs, thats red wine on the flowers and used the palest grey to do a wash around the flowers.

I feel it works and it looks fantastic as it is. Added a few mixed sequins from Lucy's mix and its all finished. One layer perfection.

Zigs - So bright and pretty and easy to use.
Love the watercolour effect with so little work.

Thank you so much for coming to visit and I hope you come again soon.

I know what you mean, Aileen! Sometimes I have to make myself stop! I'm glad you didn't stop before you colored this. It's GORGEOUS! Such beautiful flowers and the light gray wash is a soft contrast! Thanks for sharing this with us at CAS Mix Up!
