If I had a star for every time you made me smile........

Isn't that a wonderful sentiment. In case you cant read the sentiment the whole  of it is:

If I had a star for every time you made me smile,
I would be holding the entire night sky in my hand.

I made the background on watercolour paper and with Brusho's blue and purple. I made this particular one a while ago with some other pieces and the colours are all rather dark as I am still on the trial and error with it. BUT I felt it made a wonderful night sky.

I used a stencil that I have and cant remember where I got it, it's a thicker stencil so more robust and has clusters of stars, hearts and circles on it in the three separate sections. So i have used the stars section with Bobunny silver glitter embossing paste to make the scatter of stars, moving the stencil a couple of times.

Because I was too lazy to tape the stencil in place I did get a few instances where the glitter is a bit thicker round the edges but over all I was very pleased with the piece.

I attached the panel onto a a grey piece of cardstock, white embossed the sentiment on a piece of vellum, attached on the inside of the card. Coloured my bunnies from Mama Elephant stamp set with copics and ooops I forgot to add glitter to their tails, so just pretend the tails look fluffy and
glittery- ok. Attached the rabbits with some dimensional tape.

An unusual night sky I know but it is my magic one that rabbits sit in front off and profess their love!!!

Such a beautiful night sky - it really is so atmospheric. If that was the sky every night, I'd be sat out like th bunnies. Xx

This is absolutely gorgeous, so beautifully done. What a stunning sky, and I love those glittery stars! We need a little bit of white space over at LIM for it to meet the "clean and simple" guidelines, but I'm so glad you posted this because it's stunning. Lovely!

I think the deep colour of the sky sets it off perfectly making a very striking card. Cara x
