Hugs & Kisses

Made this card and with all those colours it looks a bit  complex but its not. It's a piece of patterned 12 x 12 paper that I love and I only have a wee bit left. You know those papers that you never want to use up cause they are so neat but then you realise the only place they are decorating is your cardstock box so just use it Aileen. Think I can get 2 more cards out of the piece then thats it.
Don't these colours look wonderful together. This card is a lot more tizzy than I would usually do but it just seemed to fit as it all came together.

Coloured this little cutie in with Copics, with the curls  I tried for bits of colour here and there and even left some white to give that light springy feeling. Added glitter pen to the frills of her dress and Glossy Accents to the flowers and the dogs colour.
He makes me think of our Jake when Elysha insists on cuddling him and getting him comfortable (for her that is). This is how they will sit watching a movie .
He's a funny dog,  he will stand on his hind legs with his front legs in the air and looking much like a meerkat so whoever he is sitting with will rub his tummy. There have actually been times when he has fallen back onto the couch with legs still straight he was so mesmerised by the tummy rubs. John has even caught him a time or two when he would have fallen on the ground as he was facing the wrong way on the couch, with barely any reaction he is back there again waiting for the next scratch.

At the moment his name is Prince Jake as it seems to be related to something Elysha has seen. We are all royalty and of course that includes Jake.

Back to the card, hey!! Okay cut out the image and because I had printed up a pile on the same copic paper there was not much room to do much else.  Thats when I decided on using patterned paper, a die cut swirl, flowers and even  a pretty sheer ribbon with hearts on it  -full tilt I say.
All finished off with a stamped hugs & kisses and a die cut XOXO. Elysha will love it on Valentines Day and tell me the dog looks just like Jake (no he doesn't but she says that of all dogs so we go with the flow).

Here's Jake just laying there having photos taken, life is hard as a Companion Dog - not.

Okay where can I enter this......

New challenge to me.

Thats it for today, thanks for coming to visit and I hope you come again soon.
