The Flower Challenge #1

The start of a brand new card challenge. The Flower Challenge is up and running. Each month will be a different theme. This month so we can all meet each other and get all the bugs ironed out is 'Anything Goes'

This card was made using a digital from Power Poppy and I have printed up quite large
so that its the main feature of the card. I coloured with Copics.

I then die cut with the Wonky Stitches Square Die from MFT and then inlaid into the
rainbow striped paper that had also been die cut with the Wonky Stitches Die but this
time we are using the negative of the die cut. So the coloured image ended up
flush with the rainbow coloured paper. Sorry cant tell you the name of the paper.
The Smile die and sentiment underneath are both produced by Honey Bee Stamps
They are a fairly new company and the die cut 'smile' comes on its own and you can also buy
the 'smile' word just as big as the die cut and it comes with a great selection of single words
and sentiments.

Okay thats all the details on the card now its time to with go directly to the blog
The Flower Challenge
or visit each of the Design Team and show them a little love.

Aileen -you are here.
Cara

Thank you so much for coming to visit
and I hope to see you at The Flower Challenge.

This is one of my most favorite images from Power Poppy and you colored beautifully, the flowers look so fresh, like you just cut them from your garden.
Love the pattern paper, what a beautiful design, it frames this pitcher of tulips perfectly.
Congratulations, teammate!!

Maria.

Congrats! What a WOW start to the new challenge, your colouring and your card is superb Aileen, hope that you don't get too many 'bugs' that you need to iron out (thought about going into a pun about bugs and flowers here, but thought better of it lol.) Heading over to the challenge to check it out right now!

Congrats to your new challenge! Count on me to play along! Wonderful tulips! Your coloring skills are just awesome, but I am repeating myself here - hope you don't get tired hearing it! BTW - thank you so much for your gorgeous card! I did not have much time lately as I had visitors at my house for the past several weeks and just wanted to spend time with them, rather than on the internet. I am sure you understand. Hugs, Cornelia
